Chief's Corner
It's that time of year when citizens are beginning to
venture outside and enjoy the
fresh air. Citizens, friends, and families enjoying each others company as
the
children play. Children are running, yelling, and having fun up and down the
streets with no thought of school. They are riding bikes in and out of
driveways
and off of the sidewalks into the streets. Caution should be taken by
children to
watch out for vehicles. Look both ways before crossing the street. This is a
good
time to remind children of street safety. Operators of vehicles need to
watch out
for children and obey the speed limits in the neighborhoods. Please be safe
and
keep an eye on the children.
Centerton Police Chief
Lance Johnson

The City of
Centerton has a City Ordinance which allows 12 hours
parking on the streets. This is so emergency vehicles can respond
to emergencies without interference. If any vehicle is parked on
City streets more than 24 hours, it will be towed at the owner’s
expense.
Sincerely,
Chief Lance Johnson
