The Centerton Fire Department escorted Santa Clause around town prior to Christmas. Santa passed out candy while visiting with the children.
The Centerton Police Department participated in the 'Shop With A Cop' program. Several students from Gamble Elementary School were selected to participate.

Good Morning, I just wanted to give everyone updates on some upcoming events, first of all on Friday March 20th will be the Monthly Community Potluck Dinner, the doors open at 5:30pm and we usually eat around 6:30pm, come bring a covered dish and meet your friends and neighbors.
Next on Saturday March 21 at 9 am will be our monthly Coffee with the Mayor, come on out and meet your elected officials, we usually have county and state representatives attend and update everyone on things happening. Coffee and donuts are served, I enjoy hosting these and meeting each of you.
A couple of other events coming up the Centerton 4-H will be hosting their Annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 4th, a grand opening of the new park on April 11th and the Benton County Clean Up on April 18th.

Lastly today is going to be a rainy day, but we expect better weather on Saturday and Sunday come check out the new city park and also the new pavilion on the walking trail at Centerton Lake

Centerton Water & Sewer is currently taking applications for Operator 1. Qualifications are, but not limited to: High School diploma or equivalent, must have a valid driver's license, able to lift 60lbs. of weight waist high, able to test for and receive Water Distribution licenses through the Arkansas Department of Health. Current D1 and WW Class 1 license holders are desirable. Applications will be taken through March 15, 2015. Centerton Planning Commission
The Centerton Planning Commission will meet on Tuesday, February 24th, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Centerton City Hall meeting room, 290 Main street, Centerton, Arkansas to hear those who wish to be heard regarding the endorsement of the Northwest Arkansas Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan, and more particularly the adoption of that part of the Plan encompassing the city's planning area as the City of Centerton Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend and participate in this public hearing as input is being sought on desired trail locations and identifying areas of concern of proposed trails on the master plan. If adopted by the Planning Commission, the Plan will be certified to the City Council for its adoption on March 10, 2015.
