The Centerton Fire Department escorted Santa Clause around town prior to Christmas. Santa passed out candy while visiting with the children.
The Centerton Police Department participated in the 'Shop With A Cop' program. Several students from Gamble Elementary School were selected to participate.

PLAN PURPOSE: To develop a coordinated, voluntary program to protect and promote the region’s most valued natural landscapes and open spaces. The goal is to preserve these assets; thereby maintaining our high quality of life as the region continues to grow and prosper.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS: This will be the second round of public meetings for the project. The purpose is for project planners to hear from the public about what they value most in terms of open space, and to provide information on the project purpose, goals, scope, schedule, and input received to-date. Each meeting will feature the same information, and each will be drop-in from 4-6:30pm.
A position is open on the Centerton Planning Commission to serve until June 30, 2015; after which, the position may be extended for a 3-year term. The City of Centerton is accepting applications until Friday, April 24, 2015 (5:00 PM). Applicant must live within the incorporated city limits or planning area of the City of Centerton. Regular meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month with compensation pay of $75 per meeting. Applicants will be interviewed by the remaining members at the end of the regular meeting on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 6:00 PM; then recommended to the Mayor and City Council for appointment to the Commission. Must be present for the interview.
Good Afternoon, we have a lot of events going on in the month of April I want to tell everyone about and we will have a fun month, I want to start off this Wednesday April 1st at 6pm in the conference room of city hall, I will have a Activities Planning Meeting for the upcoming Centerton Day, if you would like to help please attend, we are in need of donations for the auction if you can help also and then on Saturday April 4th at 10:30am at the First Baptist Church of Centerton, 351 West Centerton Blvd at the soccer field the Centerton 4-H will host their Annual Easter Egg Hunt, there will be many events to include popcorn, face painting, prizes and music, there will be 10,000 hidden eggs for the children to find.
Then on April 18th the Benton County Cleanup will take place at the Benton County Road Department located at 1206 SW 14th in Bentonville, right next to the county jail from 8am until 12 noon, this is a good time to clean out your garages and stuff. Then finally on April 25th at the city park we will have our Annual Rabies Clinic, from 9am until 11am, here you can get rabies shots for $7.00 each for your dogs and cats and also we will have staff on hand to get your Centerton dog tags also, the cost of dog tags are $5.00 for dogs that are spayed and neutered, and $10.00 if not, we do not require registration for cats and everyone is welcome regardless if you are a resident or not.
I will post these events as we get closer but I did want to share the exciting activities coming up in our great community.
