The Fire Department
would like to thank everyone for their continued support
including, but not limited to, voluntary taxes and annual dues. If you are a
city resident and have not picked up your weather alert radio from City
Hall, then
please bring your utility bill and a form of identification with you
during normal
business hours.
Please check your batteries in your smoke detectors at your
house. If you do not have any smoke detectors in your home and cannot afford
to
purchase them, then contact our office and we will be happy to assist you
in finding
an agency from which to obtain them.
We would also like to remind everyone that before burning, call the
dispatch
at 273-5530 to find out if there is a burn ban and the proper method of
burning
and allowed material.
Thank You!

The Centerton Fire Department is a Volunteer
Department.
Centerton now has a total of 32 Volunteer Fireman and nine pieces
of fire apparatus, which includes rescue and EMS. The Emergency
Medical Systems (EMS) building is located at 755 West Centerton Blvd.
All the fire trucks and emergency vehicles are housed here.

Every year the Fire Department has Centerton Day on
the last
Saturday in July. It is held in the City Park on
Main Street,
right next to City Hall.

There is a parade, 1mile walk, fireman’s
muster, music, food, and plenty of games for the kids.
There is also a Tiny Tot pageant held inside the community room.
An auction is held around noon with items that have been
donated from surrounding businesses. All proceeds from
the event go to the Fire Department to purchase
additional equipment.
