The Centerton Fire Department escorted Santa Clause around town prior to Christmas. Santa passed out candy while visiting with the children.
The Centerton Police Department participated in the 'Shop With A Cop' program. Several students from Gamble Elementary School were selected to participate.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that proposed Ordinance No. 2014-11 of the City of Centerton, Arkansas; a full copy of which is available for public inspection at Centerton City Hall, 290 Main Street, Centerton, AR; will be considered at the regular meeting of the Centerton City Council at 6:00 PM on the 6thday of May, 2014.
The intent of the ordinance is to change the name of South Fish Hatchery Road and a portion of Ginn Road, from Centerton Boulevard (Hwy 102) south to Brookside Road, to South Main Street; and also, to change the name of Main Street (Hwy 102B), from Centerton Blvd. north to Hwy 72W, to North Main Street (Hwy 102B).
Good Morning, I wanted to give everyone some updates on upcoming projects and also some events happening this upcoming weekend, first of all our Outdoor Warning Devices will start to be installed this week, the crew was delayed on another project but we expect to have them installed except for one part this week, I will keep everyone updated on the progress. Also this week on Thursday at 6:30 PM at the Centerton Fire Department located at 755 West Centerton Blvd, Dan Skoff, Chief Meteorologist from KNWA will be putting on a Storm Spotter and Weather Awareness Class, all are welcome, but seating is limited. Also on Saturday there will be a Grand Opening Event for Horton Tires located at 201 Commercial Street from 8am until 12 noon. There will be a Car and Bike Show and anyone who would like to enter are welcome to and there will be no charge. There will be food and prizes given away at the event.
Also this Saturday the Centerton Farmers Market will kick off, the location has been changed this year to the west side of Centerton Lake on the corner of Sienna Drive and Highway 102. There will be plenty of parking behind the Sonic and Bank of Centerton and there will be signs to direct you to the parking area. Also updated on a few other projects coming up, work is continuing on the new walking trail around Centerton Lake, good job to Rick Hudson, Parks Director and his crew for this project there will be a trail around the lake and also on the north side of the lake, a bridge has already been constructed to connect the trails and watch for more work to follow. Also a update on the Kinyon Sports Park which is located next to Gamble School, there will be a Project Meeting with the State on April 7th, and hopefully at this point we will be able to put the project out for bid. At the end there will be 4 baseball fields as the start of the project but more will be added as funds become available.
